As for keen sailors, the world-famous Royal Lymington Yacht Club offers competitive yachting, dinghy sailing and motor boating.

You are a less-than-five-minute stroll to a pharmacy, GP surgery and M&S, and less than a mile from the station, with rail links to nearby Bournemouth and Poole, and trains to London in under 2 hours. Or hop on the car ferry from Lymington Pier and you can cross the Solent for the nostalgic charms of the Isle of Wight in only 40 minutes.
