We’re here to support independent living in thoughtfully designed homes and beautifully maintained environments. 

Each one of our communities has a dedicated, ARMA registered on-site team, supported by an experienced Buildings & Communities Manager. Their expertise means you can rest safe in the knowledge that your home is looked after by the very best in the business.

We’re passionate about customer experience. You’ll become part of a vibrant community and be welcomed to participate in a whole programme of events throughout the year. You’ll receive regular information about finances and the management of your development, including service charges, maintenance work and regular opportunities to meet with your Buildings & Communities Manager.

All service charges are transparent, with no hidden costs. The service charge covers the full running cost of your community, including a reserve fund for any large works, planned or unexpected. 

We do not charge an exit fee so the service charge covers the full running cost of the community. 

Our On-Site Team

Each community has a dedicated, friendly on-site team, supported by an experienced Buildings & Communities Manager, with remote emergency support available around the clock, 365 days a year.

Our on-site team is on hand to give you practical help, support and guidance. They also take care of the day-to-day administration and security of the community; they help to organise events and activities, while also making sure all the shared areas are safe, maintained and clean. 

The Buildings & Communities Manager is responsible for the building’s finances, its maintenance and arranging specialist safety checks by contractors. They will visit your community regularly to make sure all its residents are enjoying an excellent experience and outstanding service.

Stunning communal spaces, like welcoming lounges and landscaped gardens, are perfect for spending time with your friends and family.  

The unique personalities of our communities are shaped by the people who live in them. With a calendar of events and activities arranged by our on-site team and the residents themselves - coffee and cake mornings, hobbies, guest talks, fitness classes and local trips - there’s always something for every individual taste.  

We welcome pets in our communities because we appreciate how much they contribute to your wellbeing, as well as being cherished family members.

Supporting independence

Pegasus Homes give you the opportunity to live independently, in your own home, with the comfort of knowing that our on-site team is close at hand should you need them.  

Our buildings are designed to support your wellbeing. Each home has a communication and alarm system, so help is available, should you need it. It links directly to your on-site team during the day, or to a dedicated monitoring centre around the clock. You also have the option of a wearable emergency button, should you prefer.

We recognise that all our needs change over time and, as they do, you may need additional support to keep your independence.  

We encourage our customers to plan for the future, and our on-site teams can give you practical guidance and information. The kind of support they’re typically asked about includes:

If your circumstances change and you need extra support to live independently, our team will help you find care providers that can get you the right assistance. These additional services are normally not included in the service charge and would be at additional cost to you.
