Homeowners celebrate one year in Bourne End

It has been one year since the first homeowners’ moved into the gorgeous Wharf Lane community, located in Bourne End. Last Friday, Lifehost Lisa Page hosted a one year anniversary event in the communal lounge to bring the community together and celebrate the milestone. 

Homeowners enjoyed a glass of bubbly to commemorate how the community has grown over the past year and the friendships they’ve made, whilst enjoying games and taking pictures together.

Lifehost Lisa had a great time organising the event: “We had a real-life game of Guess Who? Everybody dug up old photos of themselves which we printed out and hung in the lounge. We all had great fun and there was lots of laughter, guessing who was who! We also had a photobooth set up with some colourful props and everyone played ball and had pictures taken! It was great fun and we enjoyed catering by the lovely Tania and her company ‘Truly Scrumptious’.

Lisa has been the Lifehost at Wharf Lane since the very start: “It's been a real privilege to be here from the beginning and watch the community grow. It's always exciting to meet and welcome new homeowners one by one and get to know them and their families.  The majority of the homeowners here are very independent and lead busy lives but it's wonderful to see them getting to know one another and coming together to meet for coffee and tea and events.

“For me my role has been so rewarding. To have gained the trust of homeowners by listening to them, watching the community grow together and witnessing everyone enjoying their beautiful apartments in such a wonderful location has been delightful. It's so lovely to see friendships blossoming too.”
