Right place, right time - Colin and Sandra’s move to Latheram House

For Colin and Sandra from Cheltenham, parting with their home of over 30 years to downsize was no small task - but it was an easy decision once they had visited Pegasus Homes’ Latheram House community in the heart of the city.

They knew immediately that Latheram House was the right place for them, so much so that Sandra put their property on the market the same day as they viewed the right Pegasus Home for them. The couple had visited after receiving an invitation to attend an event. After viewing Latheram House they decided immediately to make an offer on one of the homes they had seen that day.

We decided to rent straight away whilst selling our home as we were so keen to move to Latheram House. “We’ve grown accustomed to living as part of a community,” he explains. “One of my favourite things about my time in the RAF was that sense of camaraderie. You get that same feeling of a friendly community living here, with events like bridge, bingo, cheese & wine lunch, summer lunch party, BBQ and flower arranging - all organised by residents and by the Latheram House team, in the beautiful large communal lounge. That said, our home is quiet & peaceful”.
