Welcome back to The Larder

We’ve all missed our favourite cafes and restaurants over the past year with the constant changing lockdown restrictions but as we continue to get back to a new normal, we’re delighted to be able to enjoy our favourite eateries again, both for the food and the buzzing restaurant atmosphere.

At One Bayshill Road we’re delighted to have The Larder restaurant on site and owners, Hetty and Lucie, have been busy over the past few months preparing to open their doors to the One Bayshill Road and wider communities. We caught up with Hetty to find out more about what we can look forward to at The Larder when they reopen on Tuesday 25^th May.

Hi Hetty, how have you and the team been keeping busy over the past few months?

During the last six months we have been focusing on how the catering industry will change and how we can incorporate those changes into our restaurant to be successful and to meet customer needs. We have altered our opening hours and recreated our menu! We’ve kept the old favourites but have added a refreshing touch to the new summer menu which we’re incredibly proud of.

What plans do you have for reopening?

We are open at the moment for One Bayshill Road homeowners and tenants. The coffee machine is on and the pastries are baking! We are hosting a big group lunch for them, their friends and family and then we’re reopening to the public on Tuesday 25^th May.

What exciting additions to the menu do you have for our homeowners and the Cheltenham community to look forward to?

The menu has completely changed! We’ve kept our popular brunch selections and Sunday roasts but we’ve also added exciting new dishes that offer something different to other eateries nearby. The new menu showcases flavours we really enjoy, dishes that are a little more unusual and plenty to cater for vegan diets, meat lovers and a great fish selection! We will still host our fish Fridays and have our daily specials. As always, our menu is created with seasonal and locally sourced produce.

From NYC style bagels to Sri Lankan chicken curry and Greek Spanikopita there’s something to tickle everyone’s taste buds!

What are you most looking forward to when you’re open?

We cannot wait for the buzz, the people, the homeowners and all the customers that make The Larder a vibrant, cheerful, relaxed and happy place to be!
