What to do in Wokingham this lockdown
01 February 2021
At what we hope is the mid-way point of the latest lockdown, you might be starting to need a bit of inspiration when it comes to keeping busy.
Luckily, our Renaissance Wokingham community is surrounded by glorious local walks and plenty of fantastic restaurants offering delivery services.
Take a look at a few of our favourite picks across the area:
Dinton Pastures
If you are bored of your usual walking route and live locally to our Wokingham community, why not take a stroll through Wokingham’s local Dinton Pastures which offers an oasis of woodlands, meadow, and lakes. Grab your reusable coffee mug, pull on those walking boots and get yourself out in the fresh air!
Craving Italian?
If you are craving some authentic Italian cuisine, then look no further than Denmark Street’s Rossini Restaurant who has been proudly preparing delicious food for the Wokingham community since 1993. Now offering selected dishes on their take-away menu, it is easier than ever to have an authentic Italian dining experience at home.
The Wellington Farm Shop
The Wellington Farm Shop is offering a warm welcome this winter, providing fresh, local produce and mouth-wateringly delicious deli items to the residents of Wokingham. Their online shop ensures that you won’t miss out on their tempting butcher boxes, cheeses or deli packages. If you’re feeling extra indulgent, you can even order one of their Afternoon Tea packages and treat yourself to a scrumptious scone feast!
Pub grub at home
If you are missing pub cooked food then look no further than The Lord Raglan, a gastropub also on Denmark Street features a seasonal menu, freshly prepared using ethically sourced ingredients. Their take-away menu now includes everything from fish of the day to vegan pumpkin chilli if you are attempting Veganuary.
