Benefits of renting

It's quick You can move in just a few weeks after reserving. Once you’ve chosen and reserved your home, we’ll ask for a few references and documents, and in return, we’ll give you a full tenancy agreement, which highlights your rights and responsibilities.

Benefits of renting

No stamp duty to pay on rental When you rent you do not pay Stamp Duty Land Tax, or other agent fees that you do when you purchase. When done at the right time, renting could also help you arrange your finances in a way that lessens the burden of inheritance tax. Please seek your own independent advice with regards to inheritance tax and stamp duty land tax.

  • Step Five Once the paperwork is complete, we’ll help you move in on the pre-agreed date.
"After discussing with my son the option to rent, we thought it would be a sensible decision for me. Renting a home comes with less responsibility, yet there was still the option to buy the new home in the future if I wished." Pegasus Homes Resident - Steepleton
"Our choice to rent was because it’s much quicker. We had just sold our house and we also thought, well we never know, we might not like it here. But it’s nice because you see life all around, there’s people going to the cafe or sitting outside." Pegasus Homes Resident - Leyton Road
"Investing in a property didn’t feel like the right option with the additional costs such as stamp duties fees. Renting appealed to us precisely for its flexibility, allowing us to adapt to changing circumstances and needs." Pegasus Homes Resident - Wooburn Bales
