High above the city, what for centuries was an arty village is now one of London’s most beautiful suburbs, and home to this remarkable development. Beautiful, light-filled homes, all with private loggia balconies and shared roof terraces that have stunning views of the capital. You really are spoiled for choice for places to wander, dine and shop and yet just a gentle stroll from one of the capital’s greatest natural treasures, Hampstead Heath: 800 acres of wilderness, wildlife and public swimming ponds.
Start the day in the wellness suite, enjoying a gentle swim in the lap pool or a yoga lesson in the stretch studio, or pop into one of the treatment rooms for a massage or manicure. There’s a gym on site, if you prefer weights or cardio. For outdoor space, step out into the enclosed central garden, the roof terrace or the sky lounge to really soak up the amazing panoramic views.
Meet a neighbour for a companionable cup of tea, enjoy an impromptu glass of wine after an evening stroll on the Heath, take the Sunday papers and make an afternoon of it, or have some fun with any of the board games that are there for you to enjoy. The elegant lounge is an extension of your living and socialising space. On special occasions, when you might want to host a larger get-together with friends or family, we’re always delighted to accommodate your plans.
Hamsptead is famous for its views and we’ve made the most of the community’s wonderful vantage point with two outdoor roof spaces. The 3rd-floor roof terrace has lots of comfortable seating - come with a book, with friends or with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. From the sky lounge, even higher up on the 6th floor, the incredible views take in many of London’s most famous landmarks, new and old, from the Shard, the Gherkin and the London Eye to the iconic dome of St Paul’s Cathedral.
The enclosed garden is Zen-like in its sense of calm and was designed to link all sides of the community together. The bright, open area features classic, contemporary landscaping that is carefully detailed and thoughtfully planted, to encourage wildlife and to look welcoming all year round. Courtyard gardens are so important in city centre locations, so we’ve taken care to make the very most of every square foot.
There's nothing quite like swimming for improving flexibility, coordination and balance, so a gentle swim in the lap pool is a great way to greet the day, or alternatively a yoga lesson in the stretch studio. (Or why not both?) For those days when a little indulgence is just what you need, pop into one of the treatment rooms for a massage or manicure. There’s also a gym, if you prefer weights or cardio, with a sauna and steam room to keep your muscles happy, post-exercise.
When your friends or family have come from far - or they want to make the most of some London sightseeing - simply book them into the guest suite and give them their own space to enjoy their visit to the fullest. Think of it as your own spare room, but one that offers the comforts and style of a boutique hotel, yet is still under your roof and just a few steps from your own front door.
All one- and two-bedroom homes have floor-to-ceiling windows, the highest-spec kitchens and bathrooms and private loggia balconies. Here’s a guide to the homes that are available at the moment, but circumstances can change at short notice, so contact us if you’re interested in this community.
Living in Hampstead
You could explore Hampstead for years and always find something new and interesting down its winding streets, or in the cosy corners of its quirky old pubs. There’s clothes shopping and dining galore, both upscale and high street, plus antiques stalls, museums, theatres and independent cinemas. The area has attracted artists, writers and thinkers for centuries - both Keats’ and Freud’s houses are now fascinating museums - as well as countless present-day stars of stage and screen. But Hampstead’s perhaps most famous for the Heath: both a wilderness and a manicured pleasure garden, it has three bathing ponds for year-round open-water swimming, a 1930s lido, several kids’ playgrounds and a free-to-enter, world-class art collection at Kenwood House, on the Heath’s northern edge.
